Last night PrettyGreen were lucky enough to share the room with some of the country’s brightest and most innovative young entrepreneurs, as Red Bull ‘gave wiiings’ to the next generation of Zuckerburgs for the ‘Future 50’ networking event. Working in partnership with Real Business magazine, Red Bull gave the ‘Future 50’ a chance to network with the other winning companies and attend inspiration sessions with those who have experienced the successes of building their own companies at their London HQ.
The ‘Future 50’ campaign’s intention was to find young innovative companies that disrupt the norm, pushing the boundaries of the business world. The companies were chosen from all sectors and the only criteria were that they are British and under four years old. From hundreds of entries the panel of judges, that included Mark Pearson, founder of myvouchercodes.co.uk, Nigel Trood Managing Director of Red Bull UK and Jos White, co-founder of MessageLabs, whittled down the selection to the ‘Future 50.’ The final selections included a variety of industries from technology, green energy to music, sport and fashion, demonstrating the diversity of the future of British business.
Whether these young entrepreneurs are producing the next Facebooks or Sinclair C5s, once things is for sure, their next stop to the Red Bull Racing HQ will be an inspiring, real-life case-study of how to build success from small beginnings…
