If your name’s not down, you’re not coming in!

On Tuesday night the PrettyGreen team moonlighted as bouncers, guest list hosts, VIP handlers and umm, rope holders (Strings is now considering a career change) all in order to help youth broadcaster SBTV celebrate the launch of its new website at Nando’s.

SBTV’s founder Jamal Edwards has become one to watch in the young entrepreneur stakes and is currently being filmed by Channel 4 for a new documentary on the topic. Before things kicked off yesterday he even met Richard Branson so it feels like he’s in pretty good company!

The Southbank was awash with the best in UK talent last night as Clink Street Nando’s closed its doors to host the exclusive event and with Bluey Robinson, Ed Sheeran, Miss Dynamite, Kate Walsh, Cher Lloyd and Flawless all there, it went off with a (very loud!) bang.

It was a major event with over 400 of the UK’s most influential music contacts in attendence, – munching on chicken and soaking up the atmosphere and we’re pleased to report that everything was great with some frankly amazing acoustic and grime performances, including a one off set from US mega star Keri Hilson.

It’s great to see how music and ambience brings the true spirit of Nando’s to life.
